Fredrik is running Oslo Bergen Trail (OBT) for testing his own limits, experience wild nature and at the same time collecting donations for preserving natural old growth forest.
100% of the collected money will go to preserve natural old growth forest except the transfer fees. By collecting 10 000kr we can protect 1000m2 of natural old growth forest together with our partner Naturarvet.
OBT is a 500km mountain ultra from Oslo to Bergen. Runners face a variety of terrain, from marked paths to non-existent trails, traversing forests, alpine regions, and remote wilderness.
- 16,000m of elevation gain/loss
- Self-navigation required (GPS, paper maps, compass)
- No private support allowed (Only organizer-provided aid stations)
- 8 service checkpoints with food, rest areas, and drop bags
- Mandatory gear includes a sleeping bag—runners decide when and where to sleep
This year marks the third edition of OBT and the first time a solo class is introduced. Make your donation and Fredrik will run. Follow the race on https://www.oslobergentrail.com/no/participants_no/#inrace_no
