Kristianstad Trail partners up with Trail Cred to balance the climate impact of the whole race, and most of the participants travel to and from the race. Trail Cred have calculated the total climate footprint of the event and the team behind the race, Härlövs IF, have decided to make a donation for the carbon equivalent of the race, into protection in old growth forest.
And now it is up to you as a participant to get your Trail Cred! Balance your travel footprint to and from the race, so that the race can reach their goal for protected old growth forests!
About the race
The race has been organized by Härlövs IF since 2011. The first year the race was called Salomon Trail Tour – Skåne NÖ, then Salomon Trail Tour – Kristianstad for three years and from 2015 the race is simply called Kristianstad Trail. The competition has three distances, 25 km, 12 km and 5 km – with classes for Women and Men 19 years and older, and Girls and Boys 18 years and younger.
